What is the main purpose of Faith Formation? To educate, enlighten or re-ignite in the Faithful the teachings of the Church taught by Jesus Christ himself that were handed down to the Apostles. These full teachings are found in the Catholic Church. Prayer, Study and Faith-filled Actions are what we promote in each meeting. Knowledge grows! When we go out into the different spaces and times we are called to be, we are able to exemplify the teachings of our Church with a loving and genuine heart. Flourished by our baptismal heritage, we will be able to address questions that will keep our brothers and sisters desiring for more. This is the work of God in us. "I, the Lord, have called you for the victory of justice. I have grasped you by the hand; I formed you, and set you as a covenant of the people, a light for the nations, to open the eyes of the blind, to bring prisoners from confinement, and from the dungeon, those who live in darkness" (Isaiah 42:6-7). We are created to serve God. "God made me to know Him, to love Him, and to serve Him in this world, and to be happy with Him for ever in Heaven" (Baltimore Catechism of the Catholic Church).

Why should I pursue attending a Faith Formation meeting when I can learn on my own in the comfort of my home? Come and bring a friend. Get to know people who are passionate about living the fullness of our Faith that leads to the fullness of life. "The glory of God is man fully alive" (St. Irenaeus).
